Job description
Deputy Project Manager

The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in the day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of security operations across the assigned project. The role ensures manpower availability, operational compliance, client satisfaction, and smooth coordination between internal teams (HR, GR, Recruitment, Finance, Transport, Training) and the client. The Deputy PM acts as the second-in-command and takes full charge during the PM's absence.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising security operations across all assigned posts.
  • Monitor daily deployment to ensure 100% manpower coverage and resolve shortages immediately.
  • Conduct site inspections, evaluate performance of supervisors and officers, and enforce operational standards.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, post orders, emergency procedures, and company policies.
Client Relationship & Reporting
  • Support the Project Manager in maintaining professional communication with the client.
  • Participate in client meetings, provide operational updates, and handle escalations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, covering attendance, incidents, KPIs, and manpower utilization.
Performance & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual KPIs, health & safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify performance gaps and work with supervisors on corrective action plans.
  • Support internal audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and updated.
Manpower & Administration Support
  • Coordinate with HR, Recruitment, Training, and GR on:
    • New joiners' onboarding
    • Replacement staff
    • Iqama renewals, medical checks, and training certifications
  • Review daily attendance and validate overtime before submission to Project Manager
