Job summary

NETbuilder is seeking a Data Pipeline Engineer to join our global tech consultancy in Riyadh. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, onboard complex data sources, and collaborate with clients to translate data challenges into scalable solutions.

You will leverage Splunk, Cribl, Elastic, and cloud platforms, work with Kubernetes and Docker, and engage with business analysts and operations teams to deliver trusted insights on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with data logging/pipeline tools (Splunk, Cribl, Elastic)
• Experience working with clients to manage demands and business requirements
• Proficient in data onboarding and creating custom parsing functions and transformations
• Experience writing complex queries, parsers, and handling data streams
• Hands-on engineering approach to solving complex problems
• 2+ years using data tools (Splunk, Elastic, Cribl)
• Experience configuring/maintaining large data pipelining environments
• Scripting in Python/Bash and regex
• Familiar with containerized tech (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiar with PMO and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence)

As a Data Pipeline Engineer you will work on projects to help our clients operate successfully. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including end-users, business analysts, designers, and operations teams to solve complex problems and execute 'hands-on' engineering tasks.

• Best Practices: Stay up to date on Cribl best practices to ensure optimal solution delivery.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data logging/pipeline tools such as Splunk, Cribl or Elastic.
• Proven experience working with clients to manage demands, expectations, and business requirements.
• Proficiency in data onboarding activities, including developing custom parsing functions and transformations.
• Experience in writing complex queries, parsers and handling data streams
• Ability to solve complex problems with hands-on engineering tasks.
• 2+ years of experience with relevant data tool (i.e., Splunk, Elastic, Cribl).
• Experience configuring and maintaining large data pipelining environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and writing regular expressions.
• Familiarity with containerized solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Previous experience using PMO and ITSM tooling (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence).

Formal certifications (preferred) in relevant data logging/pipeline tools such as Cribl, Splunk or Elastic.
