In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop, implement, and refine data governance policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our data assets across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities, promoting a culture of accountability and data literacy.
  • Assess and enhance current data governance processes, addressing gaps and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to governance policies and identifying remediation actions as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on the importance of effective data governance, helping them understand their roles in data management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience working in data governance, data management, or analytics roles, with a solid understanding of governance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality principles, data lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proficient in data governance tools and technologies, with experience in data cataloging and metadata management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to resolve complex data issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in data governance such as CDMP, DGSP, or similar.
  • Experience with data governance platforms like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with agile methodologies.
