Job summary

Confidential is seeking a DC Systems Specialist to operate and maintain data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and monitoring systems. You will coordinate maintenance activities, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime per SLA.

The role requires 3–6 years of data center experience, a relevant engineering degree, and certifications are a plus. On-site work with strict adherence to safety and security protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in data center, critical facilities, or mission-critical operations.
• Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS, Uptime Institute ATS/AOS, CDCE or vendor training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor UPS, batteries, generators, ATS/STS, PDUs, switchgear and DC power plants.
• Oversee cooling (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, in-row) and maintain temp/humidity within design limits.
• Monitor via BMS, DCIM, and SCADA; respond to alarms and events.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with teams and vendors.
• Manage incidents, troubleshoot faults, and restore service within SLA; document root causes.
• Plan and track capacity for power, cooling, rack space, and cabling.
• Support installation, racking, cabling, labeling, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
• Maintain fire detection/suppression, access control, CCTV, leak detection; enforce procedures.
