Job summary

Confidential in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Cybersecurity professional to lead threat monitoring, incident response, and assurance. You will coordinate security operations across defense, detection, and response, leveraging threat intelligence and analytics.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on defense and assurance, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate risk to management and IT teams. You will oversee VAPT and Red Teaming activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on defense and assurance.
• Experience leading threat monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response teams.
• Ability to translate security findings into business risk and remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection efforts, ensuring emerging threats are identified and addressed promptly.
• Lead incident response coordination and manage the incident response team for containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Refine threat intelligence feeds, identify information gaps, and improve intelligence reporting.
• Drive proactive threat hunting leveraging threat intel and behavior analytics.
• Improve adaptive readiness by enhancing threat detection and response capabilities.
• Direct digital forensics investigations to support incident response and recovery.
• Lead security assurance activities to safeguard cybersecurity assets across the Company.
• Communicate findings and business impact to management and IT teams to support remediation.
• Oversee planning and execution of VAPT, Red Teaming, and configuration reviews across assets.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection efforts, ensuring that emerging threats are identified, analyzed, and addressed in a timely manner.
• Lead the coordination and response to cyber incidents, managing the incident response team to ensure effective containment, eradication, and recovery from threats.
• Manage and refine the organization's threat intelligence feeds, identifying information gaps and using knowledge of threat actors to improve intelligence collection and reporting.
• Drive proactive threat hunting activities, identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats before they materialize into incidents, leveraging threat intelligence and behavior analytics.
• Enhance adaptive readiness by continually improving threat detection and response capabilities based on evolving threats and attack vectors.
• Direct digital forensics investigations, analyzing malicious activities, system vulnerabilities, and exploitation methods to support incident response and recovery efforts.
• Lead security assurance activities to optimize and safeguard cybersecurity assets and functions across the Company.
• Communicate security findings and the business impact of identified vulnerabilities to management, leadership, and IT teams to support timely remediation efforts.
• Oversee the planning and execution of VAPT, Red Teaming exercises, and configuration reviews across all assets of the Company.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Cybersecurity Defense and Assurance.
