Job summary

Confidential is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to oversee threat monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence operations. You will lead proactive threat hunting, digital forensics, and security assurance programs while coordinating VAPT and Red Team initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least eight years of cybersecurity experience focused on defense and assurance. Strong communication with leadership and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Cybersecurity Defense and Assurance.
• Strong expertise in security monitoring and detection engineering.
• Incident response leadership and crisis management capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection efforts, ensuring emerging threats are identified, analyzed, and addressed promptly.
• Lead the coordination and response to cyber incidents, managing the incident response team for containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Manage and refine threat intelligence feeds, identifying gaps and using threat actors to improve collection and reporting.
• Drive proactive threat hunting activities, identifying vulnerabilities before incidents materialize.
• Enhance adaptive readiness by continuously improving threat detection and response capabilities.
• Direct digital forensics investigations to analyze malicious activities and support response and recovery.
• Lead security assurance activities to safeguard cybersecurity assets across the Company.
• Communicate security findings and business impact to management and IT teams to support remediation.
• Oversee planning and execution of VAPT, Red Teaming exercises, and configuration reviews across assets.
