Job Role

Customs Broker

Purpose

Enable swift import and export shipment clearance across Saudi air/ sea/ land ports.

Excellent opportunity for a certified customs broker wanting to adapt to the latest in the freight forwarding industry with an emphasis on air cargo.

Responsibilities

• Review shipment details to advise on document requirements, associated handling costs, duty and taxes (if any) to progress with import / export formalities.
• Progress swift export and import clearance using ZATCA specified channels, monitoring import/ export movements and reporting on progress, proactively mitigating any concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer experience by working with stakeholders, from advising customer/ colleague after reviewing shipments on process/ requirements to delivery of shipments after the clearance.
• Enlighten stakeholders of new regulatory aspects concerning import / export / transit customs processes.

Skills / Experience

• Passed Saudi Customs examinations and have a valid Customs Broker Certificate
• 1 - 2 years of experience, handling imports and exports across air/ sea ports. (preference - Jeddah)
• Good understanding of customs regulations, processes and requirements connected to related authorities such as SASO, SFDA, MOI, CST amongst others
• Amazing attention to detail, well versed with HS codes, data entry and processes covering but not limited to FASAH, SFDA, SASO/ SABER, ZATCA, CST portals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Arabic & English, proactive communicator.
