Job summary

TalentHive in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking experienced Saudi national Mobile Crane Operators to join our client’s operations team.

You will operate 50-ton mobile cranes (manual transmission) on construction and industrial sites, follow lifting plans, and maintain daily equipment records.

Candidates must have 3+ years’ crane experience, a valid government crane licence, TÜV certification, and be Saudi nationals only.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Saudi National Mobile Crane Operators to join our client's operations team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating 50-ton mobile cranes, supporting lifting activities across construction and industrial project sites.

We are particularly interested in operators with hands-on experience operating SANY 50-ton mobile cranes equipped with manual transmissions, or comparable equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile cranes in accordance with approved lifting plans, site procedures and safety standards.
• Perform lifting, positioning and placement of heavy materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with riggers, banksmen, signalers and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of hydraulic systems, mechanical components and safety devices.
• Identify and report equipment defects, maintenance requirements and potential safety hazards.
• Assess ground conditions, lifting capacities and operational limitations before commencing lifting activities.
• Follow site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements and approved lifting instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily equipment inspection and operating records.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must meet ALL the following requirements to be considered:

1. Nationality

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience operating mobile cranes, preferably 3-5 years or more.
• Practical experience operating 50-ton mobile cranes or similar equipment.
• Previous experience within construction, industrial or infrastructure environments.

3. Valid Operating Licence

• Must hold a valid government-issued licence authorising the operation of mobile cranes.
• Relevant operating credentials must be available for verification.
• Must have previously obtained TÜV certification for mobile crane operation.
• Additional relevant crane operating or competency certificates will be advantageous.

5. Equipment & Manual Transmission Experience

• Must have practical experience operating SANY 50-ton mobile cranes or comparable equipment.
• Must be confident and competent operating mobile cranes equipped with a manual transmission.
• Candidates with experience exclusively operating automatic-transmission cranes will not be considered.

6. Safety & Technical Competency

• Good understanding of lifting operations, load charts, lifting capacities and safe working limits.
• Familiarity with daily crane inspections, lifting signals and site safety requirements.
• Ability to demonstrate safe operating techniques during a practical assessment.
