Job summary

Mujahid Page is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to manage product costing, cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for a building materials manufacturer.

The role requires strong costing methods knowledge, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills. You will collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to drive efficiency and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Experience as Cost Accountant in manufacturing or building materials is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of costing methods, inventory accounting, and cost control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse product, production, and material costs.
• Monitor raw materials, inventory, labour, and manufacturing overheads.
• Calculate product costs, margins, and profitability.
• Analyse cost variances and recommend cost-control measures.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, wastage, and material consumption.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Develop cost reports and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
