A leading infrastructure company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Contract Assistant to manage contract administration for infrastructure projects. You will oversee compliance with FIDIC conditions, monitor contractual obligations, coordinate across departments, and maintain important documentation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of experience in contract administration, and strong organizational skills. Fluency in English is essential.

Overview

The Contract Assistant will manage the administration of contracts related to infrastructure, earthworks, deep excavation and piling, and tunneling projects. The role involves close monitoring of contractual obligations in accordance with FIDIC conditions and the preparation of all types of claims, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and maintaining accurate and organized contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all administering contract with FIDIC conditions.
  • Monitor and follow up on contractual terms, clauses, and obligations relevant to complex civil and underground works.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and site teams to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Liaise with the Legal Department on contract interpretations, disputes, claims, and variations.
  • Track contractual correspondence, notices, and records related to infrastructure and tunneling activities.
  • Collect, organize, and file all contract-related documentation from various departments.
  • Ensure contract records are up to date and easily accessible for audits, claims, and project reporting.
  • Managing the variations and contractual risks associated with the project.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Law, Contracts Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
