Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in the Riyadh region seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications. Candidates should have a diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of total experience, including 3 years in infrastructural projects. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, safety, and independent work are essential, with Middle East experience as an advantage. This role offers an opportunity to actively engage in project completion and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Organized and systematic approach to work.
• Experience in the Middle East & Saudi Arabia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Prepare Snag Lists and follow up on remedial works.
• Report daily to the Site Civil Engineer regarding site activities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake overview supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of the works with shop drawings, specification and contract requirements and when necessary cause to address deficiencies associate with the same.
• Coordinate all aspects of submittals, review and approvals against contract requirements and when applicable report and advise on deviations from the same.
• Report on a daily basis to the Site Civil Engineer on all activities occurred on site.
• Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in all aspects of the final Acceptance of the work and close-out all applicable contracts related to the same.
• Coordinate with the team on site to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
• Gives clear, concise and understandable instructions to Contractors to avoid abortive works and errors. Follows up with Staff to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare Snag Lists and follow up remedial works until works found satisfactory.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil with total 10 Years of experience including 3 years in Infrastructural Projects
• Should be organized and systematic towards work and be able to work independently with minimum supervisions.
• Middle East & Saudi Arabia experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure
• Strong safety background
• Strong in all construction disciplines with the knowledge of “HOW TO’
• Driving license
