Join our Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation Business Unit as a Commissioning Engineer for Oil Field Works in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and help us reimagine the world by finding solutions that make tomorrow a more innovative place.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Expert knowledge in testing and commissioning of Transformers, Siemens Switchgears NXAIR, 8DA10, Sivacon S8, and the protection systems.
• Willingness to work on-site in challenging On and Offshore O&G environments on a rotational basis with 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.
• Unrestricted mobility.
• Providing advanced technical support for Siemens distribution systems with a focus on testing and troubleshooting.
• Delivering testing & commissioning tailored to industry-specific requirements such as oil & gas and petrochemicals.
• Acting as the on-site technical representative for Siemens, leading the end-to-end testing and commissioning process.
• Coordinating and verifying testing results, updating site-specific documentation, and closing open points.
• Collaborating with customer teams to ensure timely testing, commissioning, and acceptance of Siemens equipment.
• Handling complex technical issues independently and mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Maintaining detailed service records and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Staying current with Siemens products and industry trends through ongoing training.
• Assessing and managing on-site risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Your success is grounded in:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, high voltage engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commissioning Engineer in O&G projects.
• Expert knowledge of Siemens MV and LV products and power applications.
• Commissioning training certifications in Siemens Transformers, NXAIR, 8DA10, Sivacon S8 systems, and protection systems are preferred.
• Intercultural experience, especially in the Middle East.
• Ability to perform testing safely, on time, with high quality, and effective planning.
• Good medical fitness.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Customer-focused approach.
