Job Purpose

This role is responsible for leading financial planning and performance analysis of Nova’s Marketing and Trade Spend investments. The role partners closely with Marketing Directors, Sales Director, Regional/Branch Sales Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective resource allocation, ROI optimization, and P&L delivery across channels and regions

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Spend Management
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate promotions, discounts, and pricing architecture to optimize ROI and profitability.
  • Lead monthly trade spend performance reviews, identifying deviations, risks, and reallocation opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer P&L reporting and support initiatives to enhance trade efficiency and margin improvement.
Marketing Investment Oversight
  • Collaborate with Marketing Directors to review the annual marketing calendar and assess the financial impact of campaigns.
  • Conduct ROI analysis on key media, sponsorship, and brand activation initiatives.
  • Ensure budget discipline and spending governance, aligning YTD and YTG performance with overall budget.
  • Support the development of business cases for new marketing initiatives, launches, and innovations
Performance Analysis & Business Partnering
  • Provide proactive insights into sales, marketing, and channel performance trends to drive informed decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly management reports summarizing key variances, spend utilization, and recommendations for corrective actions.
