Job summary

International Maritime Industries in Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified coating inspector to oversee coating procedures during bids and post-award; monitor HSEQ standards and productivity of blasting and painting in the yard; manage qualification activities to ensure compliance with project requirements; and plan consumables for ongoing projects.

The role requires a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent, plus NACE Level I/II or BGAS 2, Saudi Aramco CBT with SAP, and at least 6 years

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NACE Level I/II or BGAS 2 certifications.
• Saudi Aramco CBT Passed with SAP number.
• Minimum 6 years experience in quality inspection of offshore structures.
• English required; Arabic language beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coating procedures for bid stage and after award.
• Monitor HSEQ standards and productivity of blasting/painting in yard.
• Manage coating procedure qualification activities to meet project requirements.
• Plan and order coating/painting consumables for projects in advance.
• Review bid documentation highlighting coating costs.
• Ensure compliance with coating codes and client specifications.
