DS DeepSource is seeking an L1 Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. You will work hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to support BI and analytics across the organization.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and scalable architectures, with opportunities to contribute to data platform enhancements in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for data processing, transformation and automation.
• Hands-on with Pandas and PySpark for large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills for analytics and data validation.
• Experience building data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Familiar with Delta Lake, data lake architectures and governance.
• Cloud data platform concepts including security and incremental loading.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop data ingestion processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Transform data with PySpark and Python for analytics.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting.
• Collaborate with architects to maintain data models.
