Job summary

EY is seeking Cloud Architect/Engineer professionals for our Riyadh office to support cloud transformation engagements across advisory, architecture, engineering, and implementation activities. This role offers opportunities to influence architectural decisions, governance, and cloud maturity in a multi-client setting.

Candidates with 3+ years of cloud experience, hands-on Azure/AWS knowledge, and strong documentation skills will thrive.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering roles.
Hands-on experience across Azure and/or AWS, including landing zones, governance, networking, identity, security, and observability.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; Bicep/ARM or CloudFormation is a plus).
Solid fundamentals in enterprise networking (VNets/VPCs, DNS, load balancers, private connectivity).
Experience with Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Helm, AKS/EKS, monitoring, and operational readiness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead or support architectural design sessions and define target-state cloud platform architectures using Azure or AWS frameworks.
Define landing zone standards for identity, networking, governance, policy, logging, and observability.
Publish enterprise connectivity blueprints and governance models to ensure consistent deployment across environments.
Implement landing zones and account onboarding using IaC (Terraform, etc.) and verify security guardrails.
Deliver practical cloud solutions through collaboration with architects, security, developers, and client stakeholders.
