Job Description
  • Inspect site conditions prior to the commencement of construction activities to verify compatibility with the designed permanent works and identify any obstructions.
  • Photograph, document, and record the condition of existing properties, utilities, and structures that may be affected by construction activities.
  • Ensure that existing structures, properties, utilities, and landscaping are adequately protected throughout the construction period.
  • Review materials, equipment, and products delivered to site for compliance with approved submittals, samples, and specifications, and report any non-conformance.
  • Verify that all materials are properly handled, stored, and protected in accordance with specifications and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Inspect temporary and permanent works to ensure construction is carried out in compliance with Contract Documents, approved shop drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Prepare and maintain daily site logs, inspection reports, test records, and documentation of work executed, in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
  • Monitor site safety practices and construction progress, and report any safety concerns or deviations to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist in the inspection of completed works and preparation of punch lists.
  • Monitor and support start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager in support of project objectives.
