Job summary

Dar, founding member of the Sidara group, invites applications for a Civil Inspector to supervise civil and road works on site in Riyadh region. You will ensure compliance with project specs, drawings, and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of seven years in civil/road construction, with preference for supervision or inspection experience. You will coordinate with contractors and site teams while upholding safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil and road construction projects.
• Experience in supervision or inspection roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with local and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil and road construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor site activities and report any non-conformance or deviations.
• Verify quantities and ensure quality control of all civil works.
• Review and check materials, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams regarding progress and technical issues.
• Ensure proper execution of works in accordance with approved method statements.
• Support the project team in progress reporting and technical evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant authorities’ standards (MOT, RCRC, or similar).
