Job summary

Elia Grid International (EGI) seeks a CIM Data Modelling & Data Integration Expert with deep Electric Utility experience to define and manage CIM data models, data dictionaries, and integration frameworks. You will enable interoperability between GIS, EAM, ADMS, SCADA, and data lakes, supporting asset lifecycle management and digital transformation.

You will lead semantic mappings, data governance, and workshops with business and IT stakeholders, staying current with CIM standards and industry

Qualifications

5+ years in Electric Utility sector with CIM standards and data modeling.
Experience with Asset Management systems such as IBM Maximo or SAP EAM.
Hands-on experience integrating GIS, EAM, ADMS, SCADA and data warehouses.
Strong understanding of power system models and asset hierarchies.
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CIM-based data models for transmission, distribution, and generation asset domains.
Lead data integration initiatives between GIS, EAM, APM, ADMS, SCADA, and data lakes.
Design and implement semantic mappings and canonical models for data exchange.
Collaborate with asset management teams on lifecycle management requirements and use cases.
Define and maintain data dictionaries, mappings, and data lineage documentation.
Support ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and real-time data exchange for asset data.
Advise on data governance and master data management to ensure data integrity.
Lead workshops with business and IT to align CIM data model adaptations.
Stay updated with CIM standards and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
