Job summary

A well-established organization in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to manage accounting operations and ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, leading financial closes, preparing financial statements according to IFRS, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA or CMA certification, and a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including managerial roles. Fluency in English and Arabic is required along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in financial reporting, audits, VAT, and statutory compliance.
• Fluency in English and Arabic with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger and accounts payable.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
