Job Summary:

The Business Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the company revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. The role involves overseeing the development and execution of strategic plans, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the organizations overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
  • Identify and engage potential clients and partners to build a robust sales pipeline. In Energy, Specialty Chemicals, Pertro Chemicals, Oil& Gas, FMCG, Pharma and Other Potential Industries for Technical Staffing, O&M & Installation & Commissioning Services.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to meet individual and team targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team by providing guidance, motivation, and training.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing:
  • Oversee negotiations and ensure successful closure of high-value contracts and partnerships.
  • Draft and review proposals, agreements, and contracts to align with company objectives.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless implementation of business development initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management regarding progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources for business development activities.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/Power/EPC industries.
  • Proven expertise in technical staffing, operations & maintenance, commissioning, and installation services.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including P&L oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
