Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in BIM, design coordination, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong team management, leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Maintains expertise in BIM best practices and stays current with updates and improvements.

Job Description

BIM Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Operates with defined autonomy within established project parameters and organizational standards.
• Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in BIM, design coordination, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Provides technical supervision and leadership to BIM teams, ensuring quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
• Manages and leads BIM personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical guidance and support.
• Delivers comprehensive training and technical guidance to design personnel on Building Information Modeling systems, ensuring proficiency in 3D modeling, project specifications, and content management.
• Provides direct technical support to assigned projects, ensuring production excellence and adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and deliverables.
• Oversees BIM coordination activities across multiple disciplines and ensures effective collaboration between design, engineering, and project teams.
• Develops and produces detailed drawings in accordance with industry standards and project specifications, including precise placement of building components such as doors, lighting fixtures, and other architectural elements.
• Reviews BIM models, drawings, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
• Maintains expertise in BIM best practices and stays current with system updates, emerging technologies, and industry advancements.
• Demonstrates strong team management, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver under demanding project schedules.
