Job summary

Datamatics Technologies LLC is seeking an AI Platform Operations Engineer to manage and govern enterprise AI platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will onboard GenAI and agentic workloads, implement guardrails, and ensure secure, scalable operations across monitoring and cost management.

The role requires 3+ years of Azure experience with a focus on Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI services, APIM exposure, and robust incident management. A strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Microsoft Azure experience with enterprise workloads.
• Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM) and exposure patterns.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI concepts.
• Experience implementing AI guardrails, content filtering, and Responsible AI controls.
• Familiarity with AI observability, monitoring, logging, and performance tracking.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
• Understanding of Azure security, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, operational support, and stakeholder management.
• Clear communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Azure AI platform services and related platform-level operations.
• Support onboarding of Nexus AI, GenAI, and agentic workloads using governance patterns.
• Assist with environment readiness, identity/access, and deployment pre-checks.
• Ensure guardrails, safety controls, observability, and cost attribution.
• Monitor prompts/models and validate dashboards and alerts.
• Coordinate with Microsoft, Client IT, CIS, Architecture, Data & AI teams.
• Maintain onboarding and operational runbooks and handover materials.
