This mid-level role focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing AWS environments for diverse client needs. You’ll work across cloud engagements, combining hands-on infrastructure engineering with client advisory responsibilities.

The role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containerization, and automation, with a strong emphasis on security practices and ongoing learning of AWS services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Strong IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Kubernetes cluster experience and containerized deployments.
• Solid AWS networking, VPC design, and security basics.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain modular AWS-based systems across environments.
• Advise clients on AWS design and implementation aligned to business needs.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning with IaC and configuration management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters for app deployments.
• Design secure networking with VPCs and access controls.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of cloud operations.
• Ensure data storage/processing meets client requirements and standards.
• Stay current with AWS services and cloud security best practices.
