Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Director – Aviation to lead delivery of terminal and airfield packages on a major international airport program. You will be the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, safety, and quality across design, procurement, and construction teams.

The role requires 20+ years in aviation and infrastructure, a track record in D&B, EPC, or modular delivery, and a strong grasp of international aviation codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience on major aviation and infrastructure programs.
• Proven track record delivering large airports in Design & Build (D&B), EPC, or modular delivery environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and standards, including international aviation codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction across the airport project and ensure service delivery excellence is achieved by the multidisciplinary project team.
• Provide leadership across the project life-cycle and ensure the client’s vision and objectives are delivered by third party consultants and the construction supply chain.
• Responsible for overall scope management and delivery of the project, ensuring design excellence, quality, sustainability, environmental compliance, and safety.
• Ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and aviation regulations.
• Coordinate construction activities within live airport environments while minimizing disruption.
• Collaborate with design, commercial, project controls, ORAT, and stakeholder teams to ensure integrated delivery.
• Lead constructability reviews and incorporate modular and D&B efficiencies into execution strategies.
• Oversee interface management between terminal works, airside systems, utilities, and landside infrastructure.
