Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in instrumentation, electronics & communications, or electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years of control systems experience; ABB systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work at sites domestically/overseas.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Collect data and support engineering design production.
• Exercises judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & prepare relevant documentation.
• Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.
• Participate in workshops related to engineering, design, tools and processes.
• Work in graphic / application engineering development in DCS
• Program, implement, test and document process control applications.
• Ability to understand control narratives, P&ID’s.
• Assists in preparing proposal / presentation of engineering projects / programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).
