Job summary

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking an Associate Product Owner for a 6-month project. You will shape feature vision, manage the backlog, and guide cross-functional teams from concept to delivery.

You will engage stakeholders, lead UAT, and drive ROI through customer insights and market research. A solid technical background and ERP domain experience are valued highly.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a Product Owner role in a technology company.
• BSc. Computer Science or Engineering.
• PSPO certifications are a plus, Experience with Scaled Agile Framework a big plus.
• A technical background prior to going into the product world role is a big plus.
• Experience with ERP business domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a clear vision for assigned features, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Communicate the feature vision effectively to Scrum teams and stakeholders across the organization.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, release plans, and sprint backlog.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure timely resolution of test defects.
• Prioritize bugs and hot fixes in alignment with product metrics and objectives.
• Collaborate with other Scrum teams to define, track, and integrate components across related solutions.
• Demonstrate and communicate product progress to stakeholders and executives.
• Gather feedback from customers, users, and stakeholders to drive ROI.
• Develop detailed user stories to guide implementation teams.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Product Owner. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining a vision for assigned features from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role serves as the primary communicator of that vision to the Scrum team and core stakeholders, driving the successful delivery of high-value, market-aligned products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a clear vision for assigned features, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Communicate the feature vision effectively to Scrum teams and stakeholders across the organization.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, release plans, and sprint backlog.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure timely resolution of test defects.

• Ensure features meet or exceed key performance metrics, including timelines, revenue/profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Demo team products to stakeholders and customers, including internal and external executives.
• Gather feedback from customers, users, and stakeholders to develop features with measurable ROI.
• Conduct customer interviews, market research, and present insights into product teams and business executives.
• Build and analyze financial models and cost structures associated with the product and features.
• Develop detailed user stories to guide implementation teams, enabling efficient development and delivery of quality outcomes.
• Act as a product evangelist, sharing insights and driving alignment across sales, support, operations, and customers.
• Maintain diplomatic communication with stakeholders,
• leveraging strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Continuously refine product management processes to improve efficiency and value delivery.

Qualifications
