Overview

We are seeking a SCE-certified, skilled, and experienced Architect with a minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in architectural design, coordination, and site supervision for medium to large-scale building and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design development, local codes, and multidisciplinary coordination. This position may involve responsibilities in both design and supervision phases across various project sites in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Responsibilities
  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs in compliance with client requirements and project scope.
  • Develop and review construction drawings, layouts, and presentation materials using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Ensure design compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local authority regulations (MOMRA, Civil Defense, Royal Commission, etc.).
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure integration and consistency across disciplines.
  • Assist in resolving design-related challenges and provide on-site technical support.
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and government authorities during the design approval process.
  • Recommend alternative construction methods or technologies to improve project efficiency.
  • Must have technical engineering background
  • Must know designing 3D's.
Supervision Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits to monitor the execution of architectural works and ensure alignment with approved designs.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and architectural samples submitted by contractors.
  • Inspect and approve mock-ups and samples before large-scale implementation.
  • Participate in client meetings and design reviews as needed.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
  • Review as-built drawings and operation & maintenance (O&M) documentation for architectural systems.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, Enscape, 3D\'s Max, etc).
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and finishing specifications.
  • Proficiency with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international architectural standards.
  • Strong presentation, drafting, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and green building practices is a plus.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (attested by relevant Saudi authorities).
  • Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) with valid certification.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).
  • Professional certifications such as LEED or PMP are considered a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in architectural design and supervision within Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience in working with engineering consultancy firms and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver design packages in accordance with deadlines and quality standards.
Other Requirements
  • Transferable Iqama (or ability to transfer within one month).
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites within Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within project timelines.
