Job summary

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company seeks an Architectural BIM Coordinator to drive architectural BIM modeling, documentation, and design development. You will blend architectural BIM expertise with multidisciplinary coordination to support model federation and clash detection.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure BIM standards compliance, perform QA/QC, and contribute to reports on BIM performance and project status.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models based on project requirements, ensuring they are accurate and meet design specifications.
• Follow established BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to maintain consistency and quality across all project models.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM across all disciplines and resolve any design conflicts.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among project teams, serving as a liaison for BIM-related inquiries.
• Regularly audit BIM models and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards, identifying any discrepancies.
• Implement quality control processes and assist in corrective actions when issues are identified in BIM documentation.
• Offer technical support to team members on BIM software and processes, ensuring everyone is equipped to utilize BIM effectively.
• Attend training and professional development sessions to stay current on the latest BIM technologies and tools, applying improvements as needed.
• Organize and maintain BIM data and documentation, ensuring that it is accessible and up-to-date for all project stakeholders.
• Prepare and contribute to reports on BIM performance and project status, providing insights to support decision-making.

The Architectural BIM Coordinator will support both the Architecture and BIM teams by combining strong architectural BIM expertise with multidisciplinary BIM coordination. The role requires experience in architectural modeling, documentation, and design development while supporting model federation, clash detection and resolution, model QA/QC, compliance with BIM standards, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position is intended to strengthen both architectural delivery and BIM coordination and is not expected to assume the full responsibilities of a dedicated Senior BIM Coordinator or BIM Architect
