Job summary

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking an AGL Engineer in Dammam to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Aeronautical Ground Lighting systems. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and compliance with airport standards, including gathering permits and updating records.

You will perform preventive maintenance, analyze faults, and participate in 24/7 standby to support airport operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Experience in AGL maintenance and facilities upkeep.
• Relevant technical qualifications in AGL or related field.
• Experience in AGL maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Skilled with standard and specialized tools for this work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of AGL systems at airports.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and address faults to ensure safe operation.
• Replace or repair damaged components to minimize downtime.
• Perform electrical, functional, and operational tests after maintenance.
• Analyze alarms, faults, and equipment malfunctions to determine root causes.
• Respond to emergency callouts and participate in a 24/7 standby rotation.
• Follow airport safety, electrical procedures, and SOPs during work.
• Obtain permits and AWP documentation before start.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks and safety briefings with shift team.
• Coordinate with Airport Operations for work approvals and handovers.
• Update work orders and maintenance records in Oracle or designated systems.
• Prepare shift reports detailing work performed and equipment status.
• Participate in technical and safety training to stay updated.
• Recommend improvements to maintenance processes for reliability and safety.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and ready for use.
• Monitor AGL equipment and report abnormal conditions promptly.
• Observe airside safety and airport access rules.
