Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia seeks a proactive Plans and Scheduling Tech (Level 1) to optimize aircraft and equipment scheduling in support of RSAF operations. The role involves coordinating with MOF, Fleet Management, and other engineering elements to ensure schedules meet mission needs while maintaining airworthiness.

Ideal candidates will have prior aircraft planning experience within a busy military unit, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a high-stakes

Qualifications

• Experience as Aircraft Planner in a busy military unit.
• Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate multiple activities.
• Knowledge of company processes and aerospace industry.
• Understanding of engineering operations in a Maintenance environment.
• Experience in aviation in Gulf Coast countries preferred.
• Ability to act on own initiative.
• Conscientious approach with meticulous attention to detail.
• Understanding Fleet Management and airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with MOF to keep MSC informed of schedules.
• Plan Daily Flying programme with Fleet Management for Typhoon.
• Schedule Typhoon maintenance into phased plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of Typhoon inspections.
• Support maintenance activity planning for unit plans, alerts, mobility and deployment.
• Attend monthly and weekly planning meetings; prepare required paperwork.
• Use RSAF manuals related to Plans and Schedules.
• Coordinate tasks across multiple engineering elements and external agencies.
• Monitor TIs, TQs, and SFIs affecting Typhoon fleet.
• Supervise Plans & Scheduling staff; manage shifts and welfare.
• Deputise for MOF Superintendent during absences.
• Carry out thorough shift handovers.
