Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to inspect, operate, maintain and repair avionic systems on the Hawk aircraft and related equipment. The role supports RSAF maintenance programs and maintains safety and quality in a demanding, multinational team environment.

The successful candidate may be Saudi or expatriate, with required qualifications, and will work within a project-driven structure under RS AF policies.

Qualifications

• NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
• Technical apprenticeship or suitable equivalent technical qualification accepted by M&CA.
• Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed) or suitable equivalent license accepted by M&CA.
• Relevant type training (‘Q’ Course) and equipment specific training if required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to RSAF policies, M&CA mandates and maintenance manager directives.
• Identify, debrief and rectify aircraft faults; plan maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure SQEP levels are maintained within mandated limits and coordinate personal time accordingly.
• Support AMO to deliver serviceable aircraft and meet RSAF flying commitments.
• Train technicians and promote a strong safety culture during fault finding and repair.
