Job summary

Ernst & Young AE is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager to lead design, development, and implementation of AI and Generative AI architectures for client use cases. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, evaluate data platforms, and oversee pilots through production readiness in complex enterprise environments.

The role requires deep ML expertise, cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), and strong leadership to guide consultants and deliver measurable AI value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 6–12 years of relevant experience in AI, ML, data analytics, software engineering or technology consulting.
• Proven experience leading design, development, testing and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based AI services and enterprise technology environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, presentation and executive communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage multiple workstreams, budgets, timelines, risks and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI and Generative AI solutions addressing client business challenges.
• Own development of AI architectures, designs, and deployment approaches.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify and shape AI use cases and opportunities.
• Develop and integrate AI applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and agentic architectures.
• Configure and deploy pretrained AI models for content generation, summarization, and conversational AI.
• Assess client data platforms to identify AI integration opportunities and improvements.
• Oversee PoCs, pilots and production AI solutions including planning, testing and deployment.
• Ensure responsible AI governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
