Course of instruction for Instructor Pilot

Job description

Responsible for performing duties as an Instructor Pilot-Trainer in the AH6i Series Aircraft and supporting simulation device(s). Conduct Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) training, Instructor Pilot Course (IPC) training, continuation training, and evaluation of customer students and pilots in accordance with approved Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard publications. Flight instruction duties include contact, basic instrument, basic and advanced combat skills, and initial NVG qualification. Flight evaluation duties include APART and PFE s under Day, Night, Hood, and NVG conditions to MNG standards, IAW government-approved ATM, POI, and CMP requirements. Academic instruction may include, but is not limited to, any combination of Individual or Group instruction in a classroom environment and or simulator on basic ground school topics, including aerodynamics, aeromedical, navigation, aircraft systems, crew coordination, basic instruments, and night/NVG. Responsible for maintaining Individual Gradebook Folders and Individual Aircrew Training Folders (IATF) and completing required training, currency, and readiness entries.

Qualifications :

  • Must have an FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot certificate or host country equivalent.
  • FAA Class II Flight Physical or host country equivalent required.
  • Must have been qualified as a Pilot in Command.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is required.
  • Must be qualified in mission, type, design, and, if appropriate, series of aircraft; or be able to be qualified upon hire.
  • Graduate of a course of instruction for Instructor Pilot at an authorized U.S. Army Aviation Proponent School or an IP equivalency evaluation administered by a standardization instructor pilot (SP) selected by the Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES) required.
  • Minimum 1500-hour total flight hours (Turbine Engine), of which a minimum of 300 hours are as an SP/IP. Minimum of 250 flight hours NVG. Previous NVG Instructor Pilot experience required.
  • Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability as lead pilot of a flight training organization.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and written.
  • Ability to effectively deal with people in the supervision of staff and team members.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer professionally and courteously.

Extensive ability to use Microsoft Products

Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
