Job summary

V2X Inc seeks an experienced Instructor Pilot for AH-64E, delivering both classroom and hands-on flight training. The role covers ATP integration, AQC/AQT, and evaluating aircrew proficiency, with responsibility for maintaining IATF entries and ensuring currency and readiness.

Travel to and training across locations may be required. Candidate must have AH-64E qualification, substantial flight hours, and FAA certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher is required for visa eligibility.
• FAA Commercial Pilot certificate is required.
• FAA Class II Flight Physical must be passed on hire and annually thereafter.
• AH-64E qualification is mandatory.
• AH-64 IPC/MOI graduate is required or an equivalent evaluation.
• Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, including 500 IP time and 250 NVS/NVG hours.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate Aviation pilots in the AH-64E aircraft per US Army ATM and unit ATP guidelines.
• Support development and execution of Aviation Aircrew Training Program per customer guidance.
• Verify and confirm that all required flight training publications are current and complete.
• Conduct and evaluate readiness progression tasks including instrument flight tasks in day, night, NVS/NVG, IFR.
• Prepare crewmembers through realistic mission training maneuvers under desert conditions.
• Provide aircrew proficiency training in IMC under FAA/ICAO rules.
• Attend meetings as required by Customer.
• Recommend aviation instructor pilot and Pilot in Command appointments to customer leadership.
• Provide training and input for weekly scheduling meetings based on ATP requirements.
• Act as ATP mentor within standardization teams as needed.
• Provide guidance for field exercises at tenant locations.
• IP duties may be required at offsite locations.
