Job summary

A technology company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all General Ledger (GL) activities and ensure accurate financial reporting. Candidates should have over 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in high-growth environments, and must be fluent in Arabic as well as proficient in English. The role includes managing month-end closes, preparing financial statements, and improving accounting policies. Relocation support is available if required.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Manager with strong General Ledger (GL) ownership to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance in a fast-growing technology environment.

Arabic fluency is mandatory. Relocation support is available if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage General Ledger (GL) activities end-to-end
• Lead month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Review and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial statements
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, and collections
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity forecasting
• Support tax filings, VAT/withholding tax, and external audits
• Improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including ownership of GL and close
• Previous experience in an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant role is a must
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory); English proficiency required
• Experience with KSA accounting, VAT, or regulations is a strong plus
• Background in technology, startup, or high-growth environments preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, reporting, analysis)
• Solid tax and audit experience
• High attention to detail, structure, and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
