Job summary

AlWatania Information Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage financial transactions, prepare statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate financial data.
Monitor and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Prepare tax returns and assist with audits as required.
Provide support for management reporting and financial analysis.
