Job summary

A leading Construction and Engineering group in Saudi Arabia seeks an Accountant to be based at their head office in Jeddah. You will manage cash receipts, bank reconciliations, payroll-related tasks, and maintain fixed assets, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Open to Arabic nationals currently based in Jeddah. Construction sector experience, solid accounting skills, and good teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Open to Arabic nationals currently based in Jeddah.

Responsibilities

• Looking after cash receipts, petty cash payments and other payments.
• Performing regular bank reconciliations.
• Verifying the accuracy of all accounting documents and records.
• Posting journal vouchers in a timely manner.
• Performing various reconciliations including for debtors and creditors periodically.
• Salary and wages preparation and disbursements as per payroll sheets.
• Manage petty cash account.
• Maintain the fixed assets and depreciation schedules and ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
• As a guideline around 8-10k SAR per month total package for Accountant level and around 15-20k SAR per month total package for Supervisors
