Job summary

Accor Hotels Eastern Province is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our luxury culinary team at a prestigious 5-star property. You will lead French patisserie productions, craft Arabic sweets, and create contemporary Middle Eastern confections to meet five-star standards.

You will oversee desserts for buffets, à la carte, banquets and VIP events, maintaining high quality, hygiene and portion control while inspiring pastry innovation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional qualification in Pastry Arts, Baking, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of pastry experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury setting.
• Strong knowledge of French patisserie, Arabic sweets, and dessert presentation.
• Experience in buffet production, banquets and high-volume pastry kitchens is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a wide variety of French pastries, cakes, tarts, baked goods, chocolates and international desserts.
• Prepare and present traditional Arabic sweets and Middle Eastern desserts with authentic flavors and textures.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry methods including dough preparation and dessert finishing.
• Create innovative desserts and pastry products that meet luxury standards and reflect culinary trends.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, portion size and presentation across all products.
• Prepare desserts for restaurants, all-day dining, buffets, room service, banquets, catering and VIP guest amenities.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail throughout production.
• Adapt traditional sweets for luxury hotel buffets and special events while preserving cultural integrity.
