Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Consultant (Life Cycle Assessment)

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and passionate environmental sustainability professional to join our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team. The primary function of this role is to conduct and manage projects related to environmental LCA modelling and reporting across various industries.

You will help our clients create more sustainable products and operate more sustainably. Your work will focus on assisting clients with product and corporate sustainability measurement and reporting, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) using GaBi software, preparing LCA results, and supporting other sustainability projects. You will also engage in direct project management and client interaction.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing multiple consulting projects on LCA, feasibility studies, Total Cost of Ownership evaluations, and sustainability strategies.
  2. Creating LCA models using GaBi software.
  3. Writing ISO 14040/44 conformant reports documenting project work.
  4. Manipulating data using Excel or other data formats.
  5. Analyzing energy, water, waste, emissions, and costs.
  6. Preparing and presenting results in PowerPoint or other formats.
  7. Ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  8. Collaborating with team members across regions and specialties on topics like energy transition, alternative fuels, hydrogen, and green chemistry.
  9. Developing and maintaining client relationships.

Your profile:

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of consulting experience, ideally with LCA.
  • Passion for sustainability, environmental systems, life cycle thinking, and climate change.
  • Experience managing small to medium teams and projects.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a curious mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple projects independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A genuine desire to promote environmental sustainability in business practices.
