IQVIA Clinical Functional Service Partnerships - Local Trial Manager

The IQVIA sponsored Clinical Functional Service Partnerships (FSP) department supports our clients' project teams in clinical research. This role offers the opportunity to work with a single client and manage clinical research projects across various therapeutic areas.

We are currently offering a full-time, home-based position throughout Germany as a Local Trial Manager (m/w/d).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring services adhere to applicable SOPs, work instructions, policies, GCP, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing high-level budget estimates and detailed proposals; managing contracts and change orders.
  • Acting as the primary contact for assigned trials at the country level, tracking project progress, and monitoring patient recruitment.
  • Maintaining trial management systems, participating in audits, and ensuring study compliance.
  • Contributing to site recruitment strategies and vendor management.
  • Reviewing country-specific informed consent documents and ensuring patient safety and data integrity.
  • Preparing for inspections, maintaining trial documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with global teams to implement CAPAs and ensure quality standards.
  • Managing trial budgets, financial reporting, and assisting in site contract negotiations.
  • Ensuring regulatory approvals and contributing to process initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or higher degree in life sciences.
  • At least 5 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO, plus 3 years in local trial management.
  • Expertise in Oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
  • Fluent in German (C1 level) and proficient in English.
  • Proficient in relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent decision-making and financial management skills.
  • Ability to manage virtual study teams and willingness to travel occasionally.
