Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the monetization of our renewable energy solutions by focusing on payment integrations and smart monetization of existing products. Your work will enable seamless, scalable, and international business growth, contributing to making renewable energy accessible and profitable for private homes and small businesses worldwide.
Team and Responsibilities
As a software engineer at 1KOMMA5°, you will join an established cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers. You will help build a self-organized tech team responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing your skills to a team of self-driven software engineers
- Extending and maintaining critical backend applications
- Shaping requirements from complex business problems
- Fostering a culture of experiment-driven innovation
- Improving developer experience by reducing tech debt, automating processes, and documenting decisions
Candidate Requirements
We require you to have:
- Experience with payment systems, transaction workflows, and secure processing
- Proven experience in writing maintainable, reusable, and testable code with backend or full-stack technologies
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Performance measurement and improvement skills
- An agile, result-oriented mindset and team support passion
- Interest or experience in human-centered software development
- Excellent English skills; German is a plus
- Residency in Germany
