CyberArk is a SaaS security business that always aims for sustainable growth. As a Strategic Account Executive (M/W/D), you will work with enterprise-scale customers. Our Strategic Account Executives are always customer-facing and are expected to spend a large portion of their time building and maintaining meaningful relationships with new and existing enterprise clients. A Strategic Account Executive at CyberArk will manage the entire sales cycle, working as a focal point for your team of Solution Engineers, Channel Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Marketing experts, and other supporting resources.

This role focuses on Pharma & Chemical companies in Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing territory plans in collaboration with management for a defined set of accounts.
  • Gaining knowledge of our products, mapping them to customer strategic imperatives, and articulating their business value to budget holders and decision-makers such as C-suite, Technical, Product, and Finance teams.
  • Planning engagement activities to build and maintain enterprise accounts, delivering long-term benefits for partners, advisors, and third parties, while generating revenue exceeding quotas.
  • Following up on incoming or self-generated leads, confidently articulating the need for identity security and privileged access management.
  • Leading the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through proof of technical and business value, negotiation, contracting, and deal closing.
  • Accurately forecasting business and maintaining business systems such as Salesforce CRM for up-to-date business insights.
  • Working effectively within a team environment and leading cross-functional teams such as go-to-market and marketing.
  • Collaborating with channel partners to extend sales and delivery reach.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in SaaS sales and subscription sales, preferably with large transformative software solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Ability to relate IT solutions to business objectives.
  • Understanding of use cases and requirements for securing sensitive data and IT systems through identity security opportunities.
  • Knowledge in Cybersecurity, Identity Management, Database Management, SIEM, Compliance, Information Security, or Enterprise IT.
  • Active network of contacts within large financial institutions and subsidiaries.
