For our Transformation division, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible in the role of Consultant Infrastructure GIS and Data (w/m/d).

What to Expect

Infrastructure – We support major investment projects for our clients in fiber optics, electricity, and utility networks, including federal and state ministries, utility network operators, and telecommunications companies. In an interdisciplinary team, you will work on planning, program management, and rollout coordination in large projects.

Consulting – You will assist our clients in building platforms and solutions, advising on organizational and process optimization, and engaging in relevant questions related to infrastructure expansion in Germany.

Data Management – You will support our (geo-)data management, data platforms, and cloud solutions, including building and analyzing databases, optimizing (geo-)data infrastructures, and managing complex software projects.

What You Bring

• Completed or ongoing studies in Geography, (Geo-)Informatics, (Business) Informatics, or a related field.
• Initial experience in infrastructure, especially with telecommunications or power and gas providers.
• Knowledge of GIS solutions like QGIS or ArcGIS, programming experience with Python or SQL, and familiarity with (geo-)database administration (Oracle, PostGIS, MSSQL Server). Experience with publishing GIS data via web services or Web-GIS applications, JavaScript/HTML, and Content Management Systems is a plus.
• Experience with agile project management (e.g., SCRUM) and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Asana is desirable.
• Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written.
