WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a development engineer (m / f / d), you will be responsible for the holistic mechanical integration of scaffolding kits in military vehicles. Your responsibilities include:

• Realisation of customer-specific projects in compliance with internal design guidelines and customer specifications in an interdisciplinary team
• Creation of design concepts for scaffolding sets and integration of vehicle-specific components
• Independent creation of design documents, documentation, calculations, and production-ready drawings
• Conducting feasibility studies and technical analyses for new projects
• Supporting the team leader in creating work packages
• Supporting verification and validation of designs and documenting these processes

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience in design, especially with sheet metal and bending designs
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX, CATIA, or similar
• Excellent German language skills and good English skills (written and spoken)
• Strong teamwork and independent working abilities
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business
