Description

The Role: As our new PCR Operator, you will be a vital part of DAZN’s production control room, ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities include managing daily operations, supporting the production gallery, and maintaining high standards in live broadcasting.

You will work in a challenging environment to ensure uninterrupted live operations in line with SLA terms. You will collaborate closely with technical staff from service providers to keep broadcast equipment available and support clients by effectively communicating technical and non-technical information, fostering customer satisfaction.

This position offers the opportunity to influence a new generation of sports fans through a video OTT platform that streams sports content worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage live facilities to ensure broadcast quality for all content, live or file-based
  • Monitor global signal acquisition and distribution via IP
  • Maintain high commentary levels and audio mixes
  • Coordinate commentators, tests, and line-ups
  • Support operational staff during live events to ensure high production standards
  • Manage last-minute production changes
  • Assess audio and video transmission quality, identifying faults
  • Collaborate with Incident Management, Engineering, and Operations to resolve technical issues

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in audio or video technology
  • Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work confidently under pressure in a live environment
  • Interest in broadcast and/or audio technology
