About The Role
- Maintain and develop the RWEG GIS for all sites in UK, NL, D, including the development of standards and applications.
- Ensure harmonisation of systems and structures across applications.
- Administrate the system, manage users and licenses in cooperation with RWE software asset management.
- Supervise external consultants.
- Convert and integrate asset and site CAD plans and public information into GIS, unless conducted by engineering consultants.
- Act as the first point of contact for GIS users.
- Coordinate trainings, including suitable online tutorials.
Job Requirements and Experience
- An engineering degree with at least 3 years' experience in the energy industry.
- GIS expertise.
- Proficient handling of CAD systems.
- Experience in infrastructural/layout planning in the power industry or similar.
- Fluent in English and German; Dutch skills are an advantage but not essential.
