Job Description

Our client, a product manufacturer specializing in control technology, is seeking an experienced (Senior) Embedded Software Developer C++ (m/f/d) in Stuttgart. The company is family-owned, known for high-quality measurement and control technology "Made in Germany." Responsibilities

1. Modeling and development of embedded software for measurement and control systems.
2. Hardware-related software development in C++ on resource-limited systems.
3. Involvement in the technical design of the new STM32 platform.
4. Further development of processes and influence on in-house framework creation and maintenance.
5. Documentation and assurance of software quality through reviews and tests.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C++, including modern standards.
• Experience in hardware-oriented, resource-constrained programming (bare-metal or RTOS).
• Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns.
• Independent, proactive, and structured working style.
• Fluent in German or English (C1 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience with measurement technology tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter).
• Understanding of hardware/electronics (reading circuit diagrams, commissioning, soldering, measuring).
• Knowledge of tools such as Python and CMake.
