Abteilungsleiterin im Einzelhandel / Filialleiterin (m/w/d)

Our specialty store in Ulm offers everything related to fabrics, home textiles, sewing and embroidery machines, textiles crafts, foam, as well as sewing courses and workshops. We are looking for a dedicated successor for our branch management who will be retiring soon. Whether part-time or full-time — what matters most to us is sharing your passion!

Responsibilities

  • Starting as Deputy Branch Manager with the plan to take over as Branch Manager in 2026
  • Potential development to co-manage three additional branches
  • Leading and motivating our team in Ulm (approx. 20 employees), managing sales, organization, product presentation, and procurement
  • Supporting the branch management in daily operations and representing the branch independently in their absence
  • Developing and implementing creative strategies to boost sales
  • Managing and developing key accounts and clubs

Profile

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent
  • Experience in retail, ideally in fabrics, home textiles, sewing and embroidery machines
  • Enthusiasm and passion for fabrics, sewing, and creative textile projects
  • Solid knowledge and enthusiasm in sales (direct customer contact) and procurement
  • English language skills are a plus
  • Leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and organizational talent
