Performance Improvement Manager (f / m / d) - CCR Europe
For our Competence Center Readymix (CCR) Europe, we are seeking a Performance Improvement Manager (f / m / d). The PI Manager will drive performance enhancement across RMC operations by improving financial and non-financial KPIs. Responsibilities include planning, communicating, leading optimization initiatives, coordinating with various teams, and promoting continuous improvement across the RMC value chain.
This position is based in [Location] and reports to the Director Global CCR.
Your Next Challenge
- Drive performance improvement by enhancing operational and financial KPIs at RMC operations.
- Implement review cycles for KPIs to continuously improve operating margins.
- Assist operations in implementing and adhering to the RMC Operating Model.
- Assemble internal and external resources for PI initiatives, including evaluating CapEx for quick wins.
- Lead optimization visits involving sales, QC, logistics, and production teams.
- Follow up on improvement opportunities and support local management in achieving goals.
- Coordinate communication and PI initiatives with country managers and responsible individuals.
- Promote best practices and identify new opportunities with local managers.
- Transfer best practices organization-wide and deliver training with Heidelberg Materials Knowledge & Training Department.
- Collaborate with global and regional functions to shape the future of Heidelberg Materials RMC business.
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years in concrete or related building materials industry.
- Knowledge of concrete production, plant engineering, process control systems, and staff management.
- Ability to understand operational, technical, commercial, and financial aspects and their interrelations.
- Practical application of technical recommendations in real operating environments.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to foster a data-driven management culture.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, with excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to coach and motivate peers without direct authority.
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
